Building a HEALTHier Markham
Markham Ward 2 deserves a councillor who treats health as the through-line of local decisions: how we house neighbours, how we learn, how we move, how we live, how we use technology, and how we welcome one another.
What HEALTH stands for
H — Housing. Stable, dignified places to live are the foundation of community wellbeing. Municipal advocacy means showing up for planning, zoning, and resident concerns with health outcomes in mind.
E — Education. Lifelong learning and clear health information help families navigate services across languages and generations.
A — Accessibility. Streets, parks, facilities, and civic processes should work for people of every age and ability.
L — Living standards. Everyday quality of life: parks, recreation, safety, and the small municipal levers that make a neighbourhood feel cared for.
T — Technology. Practical tools that connect residents to information and each other, without leaving anyone behind.
H — Hospitality. A Ward 2 that welcomes newcomers and long-time residents alike, and that builds belonging in public life.

This article is scaffolding for the campaign blog. Final English copy will be locked from the Vote4Yu vault before ship. Program specifics that need verification will stay marked until confirmed; municipal office connects and advocates, and it does not grant provincial or federal benefits.
